There is no +5v on mouse clock pin (MCLK) but only 0.12V.
Mouse MDAT present with 5V and Keyboard KDAT and KCLK also normal +5V.
From PS2 connector signal is going to capacitor and throug him to null, and resistor 10k which is connected to WINBOND W83627EHG MCLK pin 65.
I changed W83627EHG, capacitor, resistor 10k but nothing changed.
Then, I noticed that +5V on MCLK is showing only when I turn on MOBO without processor present in MOBO !?!!!!!
How this can afect that I voltage drops from +5 to +0.12V?
Also, MOBO is turning on normaly and booting windows, instaling drivers, runing tests etc... All without mouse of course:) In windows, when i put mouse in ps2, mouse pointer is jumping from side to side and klicking randomly. Also, USB mouse isn`t working at all.
Only thing that also isn`t working is that can`t boot from floppy drive (same situation was before changing SIO).
W83627EHG is tested on other mobo?
If answers is "yes", then remove capacitor and test.
Oscillograph?
Yes. With and without mouse present.
I took W83627EHG from working MOBO where was present +5V on MCLK.
I Tried that. In that case (without capacitor) voltage drops from 0.12V to 0.0V
No:(
May be BIOS. I don't have other ideas.
After experiments with other MOBO (same model but working) I start to change one by one component and list stoped at MS-66 ACPI controller.
After hese change MCLK stabilised on +5V even when CPU is present. I don`t know how ACPI controller is afecting MCLK but it must be like pain in your knee when your tooth is hurting:) Just atipical metastasis.
Suprises from MSI.
Thank you for the decision of problem.
It looks like 6 but it can be G. I would need microscope to determine preoperly.
