The main goal for EDK II to make it easier in porting of platforms and building UEFI Drivers.

70 min Installation of BLDK II software. Generation of a boot loader. Testing of the boot loader on Crown Bay system..
Lunch (12:00 to 13:00)

60 Min More than anything UEFI drivers extend the firmware. They add support for new hardware without any Hardware or OS dependence.
Writing of a simple UEFI application and UEFI driver
